
Copperas Cove Resident Now Named Texas Citizen Of The Year
Copperas Cove, Texas is the surprising gem of Coryell County in Central Texas, and it has become a true community of courage, hope, and service thanks to many people including the new Texas Citizen of the Year with the National Exchange Club. Clarence Enochs is so interwoven into the fabric of Central Texas, you could almost swear the Copperas Cove man is omnipresent wherever assistance is needed, and that might actually be an understatement.

Enochs began serving our local communities decades ago, and has been a member of nearly 40 different organizations over those years. He could just have easily been named Citizen of the Year (an probably already has) among dozens of service organizations, but this time he has been recognized with the National Exchange Club for the Texas district.
Copperas Cove Hero: Clarence Enochs Named Texas Citizen of the Year
According to this KCEN article, Enochs's resume was so impressive, he was a hands down, no brainer selection among all the nominees for Texas and Louisiana. Enochs also was instrumental in keeping the National Mounted Warrior Museum moving forward, and serves in the now open museum just south of the gate to Fort Cavazos in Killeen.

One example my wife and I always try to set for our three children is the importance of putting others first, doing actions that benefit and serve the community, and when given the chance to positively influence even just one person, always take advantage of each of those opportunities. Serving and giving unto others is the only thing on Earth that always and infinitely out pays its investment.
