With festival season in full swing, J. Cole recently graced the stages in Texas as the headliner for the 2018 JMBLYA festival. The three-day festival took place over the May 4 weekend in Dallas, Austin and Houston, as Cole brought a mix of classic and new tracks with him.

As expected, Cole's set included his KOD outro, "1985 (Intro to 'The Fall Off')." The rapper began his performance of the song using a backing track but quickly cut the song off, opting to go a cappella. "Yo, cut that shit off. I can't rap over the vocals. This is a sin," Cole told the crowd.

The artist also made sure to dig into his extensive catalog of music, performing "No Role Modelz" off of 2014 Forest Hills Drive, as well as "Deja Vu" from his 2016 album, 4 Your Eyez Only.

The 2018 JMBLYA festival isn't the only performance on Cole's schedule. Up next, the North Carolina MC will be headlining the first day of Rolling Loud Miami on May 11, as well as Wireless fest in London on July 6. Cole will also be appearing at Woo Hah! in The Netherlands on July 13 and was recently announced as the headliner for the Bumbershoot festival on Aug. 31 through Sept. 2.

In related news, the "ATM" rapper recently earned his fifth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart after KOD debuted in the top spot. The album marks Cole's fifth consecutive No. 1 Billboard album following 4 Your Eyez Only (2016), 2014 Forest Hills Drive (2014), Born Sinner (2013) and Cole World: The Sideline Story (2011).
