June 15th Is The Last Day Register To Vote For Texas Primary Runoff

With protests and calls for change happening around the country and worldwide, it's time to put those "words" into ACTION by going to the polls and casting your vote.

Today, June 15, is the last day to register to vote in the upcoming Texas primary runoff elections with early voting set to begin on June 29th. According to KHOU, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott delayed the upcoming primary runoffs from May to July after the coronavirus pandemic hit the state of Texas.

If you don't know if you are registered to vote, here's how you can check:

• CLICK HERE to go to the Texas Secretary Of State's "Am I Registered?" portal with your Texas driver’s license number and date of birth, your first and last names, and the county where you reside, or with your date of birth and Voter Unique Identifier, which you can find on your voter registration certificate.

But if you need to get registered:

• CLICK HERE to get your voter registration card printed out and mailed but it must be postmarked by Monday. If you live in Bell County, you can pick up an application at The Bell County Historic Court House located at 101 E. Central Avenue in Belton.

Remember that calling for change means nothing if you don't participate and vote and let your voice be heard.
