Kanye West has had his run with exclusive streaming deals, and he's had enough.

As previously reported, West and JAY-Z's Tidal recently parted ways after disputes over money. According to reports, Yeezy has been upset with Tidal for a minute, and now claims he is owed more than $3 million. Sources close to the situation say West’s lawyers contacted Tidal a month ago about the termination of his contract. After two weeks of talks, both sides failed to come to an agreement, and West’s people again sent over documents declaring the contract dead.

After dealing with Tidal, West is vowing to never get into an exclusive streaming deal again, TMZ reports. According to sources close to the situation, Yeezy feels there is a major downside to deals like that: a very long period of very limited access to the fans.

West wants his new music to reach as many people as possible. His last album, The Life of Pablo was a Tidal exclusive for six weeks.

Coincidentally, all this information is coming out on the heels of Hov seemingly dissing 'Ye on his new album, 4:44. “You walkin’ around like you invincible, you dropped outta school, you lost your principles/I know people back stab you, I felt bad too/But this ‘fuck everybody’ attitude ain’t natural/But you ain’t the same, this ain’t KumbaYe/But you got hurt because you did cool by ‘Ye/You gave him 20 million without blinkin”/He gave you 20 minutes on stage, fuck was he thinkin’?/’Fuck wrong with everybody?’ is what you sayin’/But if everybody’s crazy, you’re the one that’s insane,” Hov raps on the intro track, "Kill Jay Z."

West has yet to respond to the jab, but Kim Kardashian's thoughts on the matter have come to light.
