No more driving to Austin or Dallas to see "The Greatest Show On Earth".

After elephants were removed from the circus last April, ticket sales declined even more, prompting the difficult decision Feld wrote.

The circus will continue to tour until May when its last show will be held in New York on May 21st.

Reportedly, COO Barbara Feld said the company will assist with job placement, resumes and relocation in some instances. A number of the circus' 500 employees will be placed on other shows Feld Entertainment produces such as Disney On Ice and Marvel Live

This is sad news to hear you always look forward to them coming to town every year.

Truly the end of an American tradition.

What will our kids do now?

Oh I forgot..... get on the internet....smh.....
