Killeen, Texas is now investigating another murder of a teenager after a body was found following a shooting close to a nearby middle school. Thursday afternoon, Killeen Police received a call about a shooting in the 3700 block of Dustin Court, and when they arrived they immediately found the teenager suffering from a gunshot wound, and began taking life saving measures.

The victim was later pronounced dead around 6:30 PM at AdventHealth Central Texas, and the name is still being withheld at this time pending the notification of next of kin. The name of the suspect is also unknown at this time, and charges are still pending even though a 20 year old male was taken into custody.

Texas Teen Now Dead After Shooting Near Middle School

According to this KCEN article, the neighborhood where the alleged shooting occurred is next to Palo Alto Middle School, but the investigators do believe this was an isolated incident, and neither the school nor public was in any danger.
