"I was serving a 25-year sentence without the possibility of parole," Johnson said in the promotional video. "Kim saw a video of me, she heard my story. She said, 'This is so unfair.'" Johnson admitted that she didn't even know who Kardashian was at the time.
"She went to war for me to fight for my freedom," she continued. "That’s why I call her my ‘war angel,’ because nothing stood between her and my freedom."
Kardashian helped the 64-year-old Johnson, gain her freedom after she was in prison for a non-violent drug offense.
