Killeen ISD is now allowing Band and Drill teams to participate in football games.

Students have been on pin and needles for the last two weeks after asking the school board for permission to participate in football games this season. After the school board meeting that was held yesterday, they finally have an answer.

According to KWTX, the school board began to plan out the season, band and drill team was included. As for now, they have permission to perform at all football games located at Leo Buckley Stadium.

With the stadium only operating at 50% capacity adding the band and drill team will make fewer seats available for patrons, but the football season is happening.
