The largest theater chain in the nation will reopen in the U.S. on Aug 20 with ticket prices at only 15 cents per movie.

The Associated Press reports that AMC Entertainment expects to open the doors to more than 100 cinemas — or about a sixth of its nationwide locations — on Aug. 20 with throwback pricing for a day.

AMC has already reopened several international theaters, but they have been shut down since March here in the U.S.

The theater chain imaged the reopening as "Movies in 2020 at 1920 prices".

There are several of AMC theaters spread throughout out Dallas and other towns in Texas.

The nations second largest theater chain Regal Cinemas is set to reopen some of it's U.S. locations on Aug. 21

It's good to see theaters start to try and reopen and the 15 cent movie price is great.  It would even greater if they'd drop the price of the popcorn and drinks too.
