Local Identity Theft – A Killeen Woman Used Stolen Information To Receive Free Cable

50-year-old Rose Marie Garcia of Killeen has been arrested and charged with fraudulent use of identifying information after she used information stolen from a former co-worker to open an account with Time Warner Cable.

The victim soon caught on that something was a little off and contacted police. They traced the Time Warner account information to a home in the 3400 block of Cantabarian. Garcia was identified by the victim as a former supervisor, and Garcia was arrested and her bail set at $20,000.

No word on what she was so eager to watch, though my money’s on Mad Men. It’s on fire this season!
