Macklemore Gets Engaged

B106 artist Macklemore is engaged.

The 'Thrift Shop' rapper proposed to his longtime girlfriend Tricia Davis on January 21st and now the couple are set to be married.

He posted the news via his Twitter account.

The engagement news came just after the rapper learned of the success of 'Thrift Shop', his collaboration with producer Ryan Lewis.  The song ended Bruno Mars' six-week reign at the top of the Pop charts last week, and Macklemore says he's shocked by the track's success.

He adds, "I thought it would be a niche song, but now it's No. 1 in the country, which is weird to say out loud!"

Congrats to Macklemore on his engagement and the success of his career.
