There's never been a better time to find a job than right now. It seems like everyone is hiring at the moment, and with the holiday season rapidly approaching, Walmart could be the perfect way to get back to work.

Show Me The Money!

Walmart announced that they are gearing up for the holiday season and hiring 20,000 new people across more that 250 Walmart's and Sam's Club's across the country. Best of all, they are saying they'll pay $20.37 per hour.

I did the math and that turns out to be over $42,000 a year for full-time employees. That's some great incentive to get back to work.

Scope It Out

Walmart is holding a hiring event on Wednesday, September 8 and Thursday, September 9, so plenty of time to brush up that resume, iron a nice shirt and go apply.

Pandemic Rebound

No doubt the pandemic has hurt a lot of people, and getting back to work with a well paying job can certainly ease the financial struggles a lot of Americans are going through right now. Walmart is not only giving you the opportunity to get back to work, but also paying a livable wage.

Opportunities Abound

For those looking to go back to school, Walmart also is investing in its workforce with Live Better U. Earlier this year, Walmart announced Live Better U, which means Walmart "would pay 100% of the cost of tuition and books for Live Better U – allowing Supply Chain associates to achieve bachelor’s degrees debt-free."

Now is the time to get back to work, and Walmart just might be the perfect job.
