Well yeah, this is definitely a NO-NO.

As you can tell by the picture above, a BB gun looks too close to the real thing so you can understand how it can be mistaken.

According to NBC DFW, officers opened fire and killed a Texas man after he pointed a BB gun at them.

Reportedly, police were called Saturday night, receiving a report that a man was beating another person with a baseball bat.

31-year-old Nicholas Walker was a suspect and refused to surrender to the police, so when Walker reached for his waist and waved the object at the officers, according to police, they shot him.

He died at the scene.
