Former Baylor Bears and current Baltimore Ravens quarterback Robert Griffin the third was back in Waco for his first of hopefully many Quarterback camps KWTX reports.

The Heisman winner was accompanied by a handful of current Baylor players and coaches to mold young quarterbacks from the 6th to 12th grade into stars such as him. The players went through drills and attended a film session.

Griffin has been trying to get this camp off the ground since 2017 with Baylor head coach Matt Rhule. A year he had a lot of free time, after being released by the Browns in March of 2017 he didn't sign with another team (Ravens) until April 2018.

With an up and down professional career, this is a great step for the Copperas Cove alumni. The 29-year-old potentially has a long career ahead of him. And hey maybe we'll get another local star out of this camp.
