Scott & White, Baylor To Merge

Baylor Health Care System and Scott & White Healthcare have signed an agreement to form a new company combining hospital and service companies.

The new parent organization, "Baylor, Scott & White Health," will be headquartered in Dallas. The service company will be based in Temple.

Once the merger is completed later this year, the companies will employ an estimated 34,000 people and 6,000 doctors.
