Attention all Softball players.  There is going to be a benefit for Killeen Police Officer Juan Obregon, Jr. and in honor of Killeen Police Officer Robert Hornsby on August 31st at the Killeen Athletic Complex.  Entry fee is only $150 a team and they will be taking donations at the entrance gate to help out the families of these two brave police officers.

The ASA softball tournament is going to be semi-coed and that means that you have to have a minimum of ten players and at least two females on the field at all times.

If you would like to enter you must be signed up and paid in full by 5pm on August 26.  Contact Brandon Smith at (254)223-5637 or Jennifer Smith at (254)449-4664 for more information.

There will be raffle drawings for several prizes at the tournament as well and tickets will only be $5.  This tournament is open to the public.

Officer Obregon is a 10 year veteran of the Killeen Police Department and was shot and injured during a SWAT Call-Out on July 14, 2013 when a male opened fire on Officers with an assault rifle.  Officer Obregon is out of the hospital and has a long road to recovery ahead of him.
