Swae Lee “Christmas at Swae’s” Video: Watch Rapper Tickle the Ivories
With Christmas only a few days away, Swae Lee is definitely already in the holiday spirit. On Friday (Dec. 21), he put out the new X-Mas-themed single "Christmas at Swae's." On Saturday (Dec. 22), he followed up with an equally festive visual for the track.
The new track is produced by Swae and Mike Will Made-It, and the visual is directed by Niall O’Brien with Mike Will providing an assist. The video finds Swae walking out to a Christmas tree farm where there is a waiting piano. The Rae Sremmurd rapper takes up a seat and begins to tickle the ivories.
"I didn't have you under my tree this Christmas/But I had you all over my wish list/Oh oh oh, whoa/You're not under my mistletoe," he croons on the chorus.
Swae stays put for the duration of the video and gives a spirited performance of the emotional track while lit Christmas trees in the background drive home the aesthetic.
"I was standing by the fire/Thinking I should write her," he sings on the first verse. "Doves cry from a songbird/Skipping heartbeats, it's my turn/Light a candle, wish you were here/What a way to start the new year/Disappear into my nightmare/I expected you to stay there."
It's definitely one single to add to your Yuletide playlist.
In other Swae Lee-related news, the Mississippi rapper recently found himself in a bit of controversy when he admitted to exposing himself by accident on Instagram.
