T.I. revealed some controversial information during a recent interview.

On Tuesday (Nov. 5), the outspoken rapper appeared as a guest on the Ladies Like Us podcast with Nazanin Mandi and Nadia Moham. While discussing parenting, Tip explained that he takes extreme measures to ensure that his 18-year-old daughter Deyjah remains a virgin.

“Not only have we had the conversation, we have yearly trips to the gynecologist to check her hymen,” the Dime Trap rapper told Nazanin and Nadia. As the ladies reacted with laughter, he continued to explain what happened when they went after her 16th birthday.

“We’ll go and sit down and the doctor will come and talk and the doctor’s maintaining a high level of professionalism," Tip said. "He’s like, ‘You know sir, I have to, in order to share information’—I’m like, ‘Deyjah they want you to sign this so we can share information. Is there anything you wouldn’t want me to know? See doc? No problem.’ And so then they come and say, ‘Well I just want you to know that there are other ways besides sex that the hymen can be broken like bike riding, athletics, horseback riding and just other forms of athletic physical activity.’ So I say, ‘Look doc, she don’t ride no horses, she don’t ride no bike, she don’t play no sports. Just check the hymen please and give me back my results expeditiously.'”

He noted that they went as recently as her 18th birthday, and "her hymen is still intact.”

Tip has been facing some backlash for his comments, including from his former artist, Iggy Azalea. Following their online spat in October, Iggy commented on Tip's conversation on Ladies Like Us by insinuating that he is a misogynist.

"I won't say it but I will leave you with this," Iggy wrote with a link to an article on how to spot a misogynist.

Fans have also been speaking out against T.I.'s comments, adding that they feel his wife, Tiny Harris, is wrong as well for allowing it. You can view some of the fans' tweets for yourself below.
