T.I. was among a team of artist who paid homage to Tupac Shakur at the 2017 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Friday (April 7). The late rapper was posthumously enshrined by Snoop Dogg who later performed in a musical tribute with Alicia Keys, Treach, YG and Tip.

While T.I. delivered a great performance at the Rock Hall, his outfit was the subject of conversation on Twitter. The Atlanta rhymer channeled 2Pac with his clothes by wearing a black leather corset over a white T-shirt, black jeans, a matching bandana and wheat-colored Timberland boots.

While his fashion choice may have been appropriate for the occasion, folks on Twitter was quick to deliver “the Kang” some slander.

"Pac pulled this look off, Tip just look like a brotha in a corset," tweeted one fan. Another user wrote, "I know [T.I.] was paying homage, but seeing him dressed like Pac is like seeing Dej Loaf in heels. Uncomfortable af."

But T.I. wasn't having it. The rap veteran went on his Instagram account and addressed the haters who dare question his right to wear a leather corset. To sum it up, Tip was honored to be invited to pay tribute to 2Pac and none of the performers at the event were bothered by his outfit.

Tip concluded his post with this clap back:

Everybody who was alive during this Era was satisfied. And THATS ALL THAT MATTERS!!!! This is OUR ERA...We determine whats what wit THIS S--- HERE!!! So F--- WHOEVER DONT LIKE IT!!!! We reject your deposit!!! Now Peace to da real OGs death to a Sucka, We OUT!!! - drops mic

Check out the slander below. And tell us what you think? Did T.I. make the wrong fashion choice in honoring 2Pac?
