Temple Library looking for book donations

Do you have books overcrowding your shelves at home? If you're like me and love books, I'm sure you've got some on your shelves or maybe even in storage.  Donate those unused books and let other book lovers share in your joyful reads.

Those in the know, know that the Friends of the Library Labor Day Book Sale is coming up at the end of the summer, so people usually start asking the Temple library about donating about this time of year.

The Temple library actually takes donations year 'round and you can just hand them in at the checkout desk, or if you have a trunk full of boxes, ask the staff to bring out a book cart to help bring them in.

The staff goes through the donations and keep anything that is needed to add to the library collection. The rest are passed on to the Friends of the Library for their used book sales. The proceeds of the book sales help to purchase things for the library.
