If you've been balling off that unemployment and haven't paid your rent, you've just got lucky!

The  U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has enforced a temporary ban that prevents all evictions from being served until Dec 31.

The order has been put into place to slow the spread of COVID-19. If renters become homeless, there is a chance that they could end up in shelters or other community living facilities making social distancing almost impossible.

Of course, if you are a property owner there is a downside to the order.

The order does not come with funding, which could put landlords in debt if they owe a mortgage or property taxes.

If you are renting and not paying up, don't get too excited just yet!

When the ban is lifted after the four months, renters will still be required to pay back rent in addition to late fees that may be added by the landlord

In other words, if you can pay your rent...pay your rent.

Owing money is not worth the hassle. PAY THEM PEOPLE.
