Central TX is opening up a temporary COVID-19 testing site. 

With the increase of positive Corona test, Killeen has decided to host a temporary testing site from December 28th to the 29th at the Killeen Special Event Center. 

This testing site will allow participants to remain in their vehicle while a mouth swab is collected. Results will be provided by text message or email within 48 to 72 hours. 

While testing does not require individuals to have symptoms, COVID-19 symptoms may include:

  • Fever and/or chills
  • Cough (dry or productive)
  • Fatigue
  • Body aches/muscle or joint pain
  • Shortness of breath
  • Sore throat
  • Headaches
  • Nausea/vomiting/diarrhea
  • Nasal congestion
  • Loss of taste and/or smell

Registration opens on December 26th and must be completed in advance. All participants must have a valid email and phone number. 

All individuals must wear a mask, including passengers, and they ask that individuals who are getting tested refrain from eating and drinking 15 minutes before arriving.
