Massive Texas City Now Named Among Ugliest US Cities
Recently an article in the travel category at Alot named the ugliest cities in America, and not even this large Texas metro could survive the fury of the web review data that was used to compile the list of the not so pretty side of the United States' diverse landscape.

Not even the gorgeous shore of Lake Michigan could keep Milwaukee, Wisconsin off the list, so before you you try to point at the Lone Star State's natural beauty as an unreproachable defense for the overall beauty of Texas, just know the commenters did not care what the green screen looked like in the background of each of these towns.

El Paso was placed on the list as the sole representative of Texas. The Franklin Mountains are amazing, but it did nothing to sway the article's aim.
The article did bring up a very familiar point when the cited the reason for El Paso being a bit on the boring side for aesthetic appeal,
"You're already building a city in Texas--it's already earthy enough without throwing in a ton of brown brick buildings into the mix! "
My wife and I often comment the same thing when casually home shopping and it is the one thing that will probably keep us in our current house until we die. The warm, brown and earthy tones that everyone seems to love making the base of houses and businesses really ends up being too bland doesn't provide any warm feelings at all.
