Texas Authorities Now Investigating Bomb Threat At Popular H-E-B
Austin, Texas Police Department has responded early this morning to an H-E-B along FM 620 in Northwest Austin to investigate a bomb threat. A full tactical response has sectioned off a large portion of the parking lot, and authorities were asking the public to avoid the area so a full and safe investigation could be conducted.

Several police departments in Texas have bomb and explosive device disposal teams, and APD is one of them. According to this KXAN article, the authorities were called due to a suspicious and abandoned vehicle being located outside the H-E-B, and so a perimeter was set up around the automobile to allow for a closer inspection.
Which H-E-B Is Currently Under Investigation For A Potential Bomb Threat?
This H-E-B is just east of Lake Travis, and a little south of the H-E-B Plus located further up FM 620 at Anderson Mill Road. Thus far, no injuries have been reported, and the disposal team is actively investigating.

Fingers crossed the suspicious vehicle turns out to be nothing more than an abandoned car, and it will safely be able to be removed from the area.
