Do You Know This Important Texas Hotel Is The Most Haunted?

Driskill Hotel was built by Jesse Driskill who was at one time the richest man in Texas. Some of the theories for the origins of the monstrous Romanesque style house of hospitality is how that money was earned by selling large amounts of his cattle stock to the Confederacy during the American Civil War, so it is believe to be blood money.

The Driskill did experience early struggles, and went through a period of closure. However, since opening in December of 1886, it has hosted every governor's inaugural ball.

Among the many ghost stories and experiences reported at the Driskill include people feeling levitated by simply looking at a picture of a little girl to numerous reports of tapping, people in vacant rooms, and yes even seeing spirits in the halls.
