San Antonio, Texas, just southeast of downtown along US Highway 181 about half way between Calaveras Lake and Victor Braunig Lake, local Bexar County authorities are saying a murder took place due to some barking dogs.

According to this KSAT article, neighbors at an RV park began arguing over the barking dogs being walked around the property, and the verbal confrontation became physical before escalating to the involvement of a hand gun.

Last Night's Murder In Texas Now Linked To Barking Dogs

Michael Dimaggio, 46, has now been arrested for the murder of a 39 year old man not yet publicly identified by authorities. The Bexar County Sheriff's Office responded to the shots fired call, and medical personnel attempted life saving measures before the victim was officially declared dead.

Based on reports, the men were arguing over Dimaggio's dogs and their barking, and at some point after being approached, the now deceased hit Dimaggio in the face. That is when Witnesses continued that Dimaggio went into his house, and then returned to order the deceased to exit his property.

At some point the now departed man lunged at Dimaggio, and that is when he was shot in the chest by Dimaggio.
