A neighboring San Antonio, Texas community is still mourning the news of a newborn baby that was found within the toilet at their local Converse, Texas Whataburger bathroom just moments after being delivered in the same bathroom about a week before Christmas. According to this KENS 5 article, the baby's mother spent hours inside the bathroom before first responders were able to find the baby still within her amniotic sac, and she was believed to be around 28 to 30 weeks old.

First responders attempted life saving measures immediately, but the newborn girl was declared deceased upon arriving at Metropolitan Methodist Hospital. Physicians indicated that the baby displayed head trauma, and it is believed the mother attempted to force the baby's body down through the toilet drain.

Eagles Flight Advocacy and Outreach was able to gain custody of the baby's remains, and have since named her Mary. They will be holding a proper funeral and burial for baby Mary that is open to the public, and everyone that can is encouraged to attend on Friday, January 24th according to this KCEN article.

The mother of baby Mary has been identified as 33 year old Mallori Patrice Strait, and she has been charged with abuse of a corpse with a bond of $100,000. As the investigation progresses, there is a possibility that additional charges could be added.
