It's no secret that we're surrounded by a lot of great food choices here in Central Texas (yet we still ask "What we gonna eat?" every night) and just like my Bucket List, I went on a mission to find some of the best eats in the CTX (in no particular order)! From seafood, to tacos to BBQ, this year was delicious!

Space Madness - Galaxy B&B
This innocent looking burger actually lives up to its name: MADNESS and it will take up SPACE in your stomach! A fully loaded bacon double Cheeseburger with 2 grilled cheese sandwiches as buns left yours truly fat and happy!

Buckle Buster Sandwich - Just Cookin' BBQ
Brisket and Sausage slathered in BBQ sauce....it's as Texas as the Longhorns. This simple masterpiece can be found at Just Cooking BBQ in Harker Heights.

Fried Ribs - Er Thang Cajun
Our Program Director Trey Da Choklit Jok actually hipped me to this spot which was LITERALLY right near us in Copperas Cove. While Er Thang Cajun has a great menu, the fried ribs had me coming back for more!

Redneck Taco - Our Place
Tacos is a MUST if you live in Texas or you just ain't doing it right, and the Redneck Taco was one of the top choices I had this year. While the business "Redneck Tacos" is no more, you can still get one at the same location in Copperas Cove under the new name "Our Place".

Crawfish season is upon us again but when I received a call from Papa Jazzy about his boiled crawfish, I had to jump on it!
