The Salvation Army aims to still make this year Christmas a special one despite the circumstances of COVID-19.

With the Holiday's vastly approaching and many businesses still recuperating from the pandemic, the Salvation Army will begin their annual Red Kettle Campaign a lot earlier than usual.

The CTX Red Kettle Campaign will begin in October but will look a lot different this year. When donating in person, you have the option to use contactless digital payments, and they're also adding virtual red kettles to meet the need of the community.

According to KCENTV, The Salvation Army as high hopes for this year's campaign and plans to release more details in the coming weeks.
