San Antonio Spurs legend and downright decent guy Tim Duncan has teamed up with HEB and the San Antonio Food Bank to help the people of his homeland impacted by recent hurricanes.

HEB tweeted a picture Sunday of Duncan delivering groceries to people in the hard-hit U.S. Virgin Islands. According to the tweet, their efforts have so far resulted in over 400,000 pounds of food being delivered to people in need.

Stacey Plaskett, current U.S. Virgin Islands delegate to the House of Representatives, recently told MSNBC, “I can't tell you the low morale that the people of the Virgin Islands have right now about how the federal government and the rest of the Americans feel about them because we hear nothing; nothing about the people of the U.S. Virgin Islands.”
