Who doesn't love Bu-cee's? My whole family does, and so do I. Back in Alabama the whole family would travel an hour just to visit the gas station and convenience store.

The chain has expanded to multiple areas since its inception in 1982. And wouldn't you know it, it was founded right here in Texas where, of course, everything is bigger.

It truly explains why it's so big, doesn't it? But I digress.

However, as the chain continues to expand, it faces those things known as growing pains. According to The Courier of Montgomery County, the Better Business Bureau has received nearly one hundred complaints regarding defective items or property damage to people's cars.

Some of the complaints sent into the BBB include the following:

-A mother bought a Bu-cee's stuffed beaver for their child. When they we leaving with the toy, the tail fell off the stuffed animal. According to her, Bu-cee's wouldn't exchange it for a new one due to policy of having to trade in items in the condition you bought it.

-One customer bought Deli-Smoked Turkey and it proceeded to make multiple people sick. It also allegedly had an aftertaste like chemical cleaner. Bu-cee's, according to the customer, hasn't responded to the many attempts of contacting them.

-One customer sent in a complaint saying the gas they bought contained water. The result of the water being possibly in the fuel caused their significant other's car to be totaled. According to the complaint, Bu-cee's hasn't reimbursed the couple for the car.

Those are just some of the responses left by unnamed customers. Personally, I hope some of this isn't true!
