On Friday (Dec. 8), Big Sean and Metro Boomin dropped their joint album, Double or Nothing. The 10-track project includes features from 2 Chainz, Travis Scott, Kash Doll and more, but like any Big Sean project, the Detroit rapper's lyrics are the topic of conversation.

When it comes to Sean's position in hip-hop, the rapper is either loved or hated. While some will defend Sean Don saying he's underrated, other hip-hop fans are quick to call the rapper overrated. Following Sean's latest project, the reactions towards his lyrics were mixed. Hip-hops fans kept it real about their thoughts regarding the MC's lyrics, sharing their sentiments on Twitter.

"Big Sean really said 'I wanna move in my safe, like my safe was a safehouse' & I immediately restored my laptop back to factory settings just to get that shit outta my library," tweeted one person, criticizing the rapper's bars.

"Big Sean deadass just said 'bitch I'll sock you out your socks' Apple music need to give me my money back for this month," tweeted another person.

Other fans questioned if the people dismissing the album had listened to certain songs on Double or Nothing. "People are slandering Big Sean but obviously didn't listen to savage time," wrote one fan.

Songs such as "Big Bidness" and "So Good" also received praise from fans with one tweeting, "The whole last minute of Big Bidness by Big Sean.....wow."
