The Central Texas VA is hosting a vaccination clinic for seniors.

According to KWTX, Veterans 75 years old and older could be eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine this weekend at the Olin E. Teague Veterans Medical Center.

Veterans must be enrolled and registered to receive the vaccination. The clinic asks all eligible veterans to make a reservation by calling 1-800-423-2111 (press #2 once connected). You may experience delays due to current high call volumes; however, you are encouraged to remain online the line to ensure you have an appointment.

Walk-ins will be accepted until 2 pm and vaccinated based on availability.

Veterans should bring ID to verify VA enrollment and be prepared to schedule the second dose, which will be available about 21 days after the first.

Vaccinations will be available from 9 am to 4 pm or until supplies last this Saturday at Gold Team, Primary Care at 1901 Veterans Memorial Dr. in Temple.
