The Texas Dental Association Smiles Foundation and Texas Mission of Mercy are teaming up to help veterans and under served members of our community this weekend with an event that will help them smile again.

According to the Killeen Daily Herald, a total of 84 dentists, 84 dental assistants and 30 dental hygienists and students, all volunteers, are expected to offer free dental care for veterans in Killeen on Friday and Saturday at the old Fairway Middle School located at  701 Whitlow Drive.

According to the report, in order to receive free dental care, you must show up to the middle school before 5:00 AM on either day to register and you will be seen on first come, first served basis. This event is also open to civilians who have never served.

Dentists will offer services such as cleanings, fillings and extractions. If you know someone without dental insurance and could use some help, share this information with them.
