Video: Katy Perry Has Funeral for ‘Teenage Dream’ Candy Costume

Last week, Katy Perry burned her famous blue wig...and now she’s having a funeral for her Teenage Dream candy costume.

In a new teaser video for her new single, “Roar,” the star has a funeral for the famous dress with spinning red-and-white Starlight mints. As the camera shows the group of mourners, two young fans wearing Katy-like purple wigs are seen crying. Then we see the singer herself, dressed in a dark outfit and she pulls down her sunglasses and smirks at the camera.

Debuting in a week on August 12, “Roar” will be the first single off Katy’s upcoming fourth album, Prism, which drops on October 12.
