What we do know is that 18 year old Anthony Powe was shot outside an apartment complex on the 900 block of South 12th Street sometime before 12:30 Monday afternoon. He found by police who attempted live-saving measures before he later died at the hospital.

This is the sixth murder in Waco in 2024. It is unknown at this time if any other law enforcement agencies are also working this case, but it is always a good idea to remain aware of your surroundings.
