Watch! EF-3 Tornado Rips Through Jacksboro, Texas Elementary School
Shocking security footage of a EF-3 tornado destroying a Jacksboro, Texas elementary school gym was released, and the video is a reminder of how dangerous the tornados that tore through Central and North Texas were.
By now you've probably seen multiple videos of the tornados that stormed across Texas on March 21.
Here in Central Texas, tornadoes were spotted in Round Rock, Temple and Elgin. In all, NBC News reports 17 tornados were reported as part of the storm.
Texas Tornado Teen
The video of the teen in the red Chevy certainly shocked everybody. Fortunately the kid survived with minor injuries and ended up with a new Chevy and a job offer at Whataburger.
North Texas Tornados
The storms that started in Central Texas worked their way north and caused a lot of damage. In Jacksboro, Texas a tornado hit an elementary school and the destruction was caught on security tape.
The National Weather Service said winds measured at 150 miles per hour. No deaths were reported in Jacksboro, but there were nine people injured.
The severe weather moved into Louisiana with more tornados measured at 160 miles per hour killing one person and destroying and damaging homes and property along the way.
