So last night, I woke up in a panic over a crazy dream involving me, Ursula the Sea Witch, and Rosanne Barr, all chilling in a trailer filled with bees, trying to avenge my husband's death at sea. (Side note: turns out the death was faked....that was a close one!)

Clearly I was confused on the meaning on such a crazy dream, so like any good researcher, I went straight to the internet. As you can imagine, there were alot of weirdo sites on the subject, but I finally settled on this seemingly normal article.(I also found a "dream library" that seemed pretty straight forward.)

According to these sources of expertise, here are a few common symbols we all dream about, and their meaning!

BUGS- Supposedly, bugs symbolize problems you aren't facing head on, or changes that are taking place in your life. The more bugs, the more anxiety you associate with this problem!

BEING NAKED IN PUBLIC- I always dream that I show up to my old high school, and apparently skipped putting on clothes. According to the "dream library", this means you feel vulnerable or judged.

MONSTERS- So, the dream library says that the "monsters" represent the bad qualities you don't like in yourself. Sooo basically you're telling me that on my bad days, I'm like a big scary sea witch who's jealous of other people's beautiful voice and flowing red hair? Cool.

CRYING IN YOUR DREAM-If you cry in your dream, (like I did last night) it means you aren't giving yourself a chance to emotionally vent in real life. I think my husband would disagree with this one. I'm pretty sure I vent plenty!

SCHOOL- I ALWAYS dream that I am back in school. According to these sites, that means you are "recounting your past experiences"

So there's dream interpretation according to the "experts". In the end, I chalk my dream up to too much Disney Channel and Nick at Night.
