It seems like the more I grow to feeling more welcome in Temple, Texas, the one thing that keeps coming up is where the best food is, and more importantly, where to get it.

We've talked about the best burger spots before, albeit in Killeen, but I'd like to know something a bit different, and it also involving chicken.

Yes ladies and gentlemen, I'm of course talking about where the best wings are in Temple.

Now, to be completely honest, I'm more a boneless wings kind of guy. Yes, I think saucy nuggs, as they're called, are better than regular wings, but that's just my opinion of course. But I'm also here for both sides of the coin.

Whether you prefer the original wing or the boneless variety, we all could use some different choices for our chicken wing selections.

This also includes what kinds of sauces the wings come spun in. Personally I like them pretty spicy, but not tongue destroying in terms of heat. Others might prefer them with a simple BBQ sauce glaze.

Some might prefer their tongue to be literally on fire. But with all this talk, I begin to get hungrier by the second. So in order for us to begin chowing down, we need to know where to go.

So send me all the places you think are the best places to get wings in Temple. Or if you can't pick just one, send all the ones you know! That way, we all can one day meet up and have some sort of wing eating contest.

I doubt I'll be able to win, but hey, I can dream of winning right?

Top 20 Restaurants Central Texans Wish Would Come to Temple

A while back, I asked the good people of Temple if they could picture a good restaurant to fill the lot on North General Bruce Drive where the soon to be torn down Long John Silver's stood.

This was before it was announced that a Dutch Bros. Coffee location would open there (which was one of the places I predicted as a contender in our article).

So now Dutch Bros. is open in that spot, but the responses to my survey were interesting because they paint a picture of just how diverse Temple's population is. People recommended some familiar restaurants with locations in the surrounding area, but also a few I'd never even heard of.

Here are the top 20 results of the survey. Let's see what the good people of Temple are craving!
