Will Smith and Son Jaden Smith Stop By Fort Hood To Entertain Troops; Promote ‘After Earth’

Killeen got a visit from Hollywood royalty this week, when movie star Will Smith dropped into town to pay a visit to Fort Hood.

Will Smith and his son, Jaden Smith, are currently starring together in a new action flick, 'After Earth.' Part of their promotional tour included a USO-sponsored screening and performance, during which Smith and son belted out a rendition of the theme from the star's hit show "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air."

Smith told the Killeen Daily Herald:

  “One of the major advantages of working with your family is you sort of know everybody’s quirks and idiosyncrasies, and what they’re good at and what they’re not,” said Smith, 44. “The drawback is as soon as you get finished working and want to rest, and around the dinner table, all you want to talk about is work.”
