9 Confirmed Dead after Bodies of Missing Fort Hood Soldiers Discovered Friday

Fort Hood officials announced Friday that 9 of 12 soldiers riding in an overturned tactical vehicle are deceased.

3 soldiers were rescued Thursday after the incident at Owl Creek Crossing and East Range Road shortly before 11:20 AM. 5 soldiers' bodies were recovered Thursday evening, and the remaining 4 were discovered downstream Friday.

Those who were rescued were reportedly in good condition and released from the hospital Friday.
