A Different Twist to this Year’s Fireworks Show at Fort Hood
Fort Hood will have a different twist on this year's fireworks show.
The event will take place on Sat. July 4th, 9:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
This year will be a drive-in view event. You can set in your car and watch the 30 minute firework display along with patriotic music that will be played on K-Rock 101.7.
Fort Hood organizers say it's "the biggest firework display in Central Texas visible from over a one mile radius."

You can come early and enjoy something for the whole family. There'll be live music from a DJ and bands. You can enjoy food from different vendors as well. Gates open at 4 p.m. and there'll be Kids Inflatables, Cart Races, Salute to the Nation Ceremony, plus lots more.
There will be several parking areas in the area around Fort Hood Stadium. You'll be to able to see the display from these locations. You'll also be able to view the fireworks along the side of the highway. Fireworks parking will begin at 7 PM. Be sure to get there a little early so you can stake out a good spot!
If you've never seen the Fort Hood fireworks show, it is truly special and unique. Most shows feature one burst at a time. At Fort Hood, there are always multiple bursts going on, so you're going to see a spectacular like nothing else in Central Texas!
Super excited the fireworks show will go on at Foot Hood this year. It's an awesome event, and I'm glad they were able to work out social distancing options for those that want to see the display without any concerns.
