Adam Levine Unpatriotic Comment on The Voice

There isn't many things that artists can do on or off the camera that will draw as much criticism as dropping an unpatriotic comment on LIVE television.  

Adam Levine actually muttered “ I hate this country” last night on live TV.

More than likely this was brought on by the fact that America just voted off two of his contestants, both very strong singers.  However in a day and age where everyone is under the microscope anyways, bringing this type of attention on yourself is never a good idea.  This will surely be blown out of proportion and will remain in the gossip site headlines for many many days to come, but Adam Levine posted some definitions on his twitter last night that would lead you to believe that he did it on purpose and that it was said in a complete jokingly manner.

The question now is that with the media frenzy on this dumb comment will he be brought back next season on The Voice?  Let us know what you think!
