Argument Escalates Into Shooting in Rural Bell County
Is an argument ever worth shooting someone? It seems to have been in rural Bell County Thursday.
Our partners at News 10 report that the shooting occurred at a home in the 800 block of Witter Lane between Temple and Belton shortly before 5:30 PM.
When deputies arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Bell County Sheriff's Major T.J Cruz told News 10 the victim was "breathing, conscious, and alert." He was transported to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple.
No arrests were made Thursday afternoon.
I've gotten into some whopper arguments in my time, but never about anything worth shooting someone in the gut. Hopefully this guy pulls through.
