As a new resident of Texas, there's a lot to take in. With so much surface area covered by the state, a lot of cities have many things to bring people to work there, or simply visit. But the main question remains...
What is the best overall city in the great state of Texas? We all have our votes, but how do we decide the true winner? Thankfully, one TikTok will settle the debate. So let us begin!

It's a top six, so we begin at number six:
Dallas appearing pretty low on this list is kind of weird isn't it? I feel having the Cowboys in your city should at least put you in the top three.
A city just on the edge of Texas gets into the top five. Makes sense, as a world famous wrestler Eddie Guerrero was born there, and even Marty Robbins wrote a song with city name as the song title.
Can anybody actually point out Brownsville on a map? Serious question.
Of course Lubbock would be in the top 3! After all, we've got a fellow radio cluster out there!
San Antonio definitely deserves this, but personally I think it should be number one. Why you ask? Well my little brother was born there!
And Number One...
Houston huh? I respectfully disagree. Feel like Dallas and Houston should be flipped honestly.
How did Austin not show up on this list at all by the way? It seems like that is should've made it on the list right?

Top 20 Restaurants Central Texans Wish Would Come to Temple
A while back, I asked the good people of Temple if they could picture a good restaurant to fill the lot on North General Bruce Drive where the soon to be torn down Long John Silver's stood.
This was before it was announced that a Dutch Bros. Coffee location would open there (which was one of the places I predicted as a contender in our article).
So now Dutch Bros. is open in that spot, but the responses to my survey were interesting because they paint a picture of just how diverse Temple's population is. People recommended some familiar restaurants with locations in the surrounding area, but also a few I'd never even heard of.
Here are the top 20 results of the survey. Let's see what the good people of Temple are craving!
