Back in March, Cardi B got backlash over an old video of herself admitting that she used to drug her clients before robbing them when she was a stripper. Shortly after the controversial clip went viral, people beg calling her rapist on social media.

Now, Cardi has once again spoken out about that backlash. On Friday (July 19), the Bronx rapper jumped on Instagram Live to clear the air about her alleged past misdeeds. In the clip, Cardi, while talking to her supportive husband Offset, explains she is frustrated with people calling her a rapist.

"I don't like when people be trying to call me a rapist or I rape this...I don't like that shit," she said. "Because people tried to dig up something and make it something that I didn't do."

Cardi then went on to reiterate the point that she's never raped anyone.

"I never touched nobody, I never fucked nobody," said the rapper, who has performed at a few festivals this summer. "And rape is when you fuck somebody without their consent or without asking."

Although Cardi admitted that she did go through her clients' pockets for money, she insisted that she never had to drug anyone beforehand. "Bitches don't have to put shit in nigga's drinks, these niggas be going to club getting drunk and getting high," she stated. "I never put shit in niggas' drinks."

The "Press" rapper knows what she did in her past life was wrong but maintains that she didn't hurt anyone.

"Yeah, I went through niggas' pockets," she said. "A lot of you bitches be going through niggas' pockets for $40 to catch a cab 'cause a nigga don't want to give you that. Same shit. Was I wrong for that? That was wrong, but I never fuckin' hurt nobody."

Cardi B then added that if she ever did hurt a client, she would have been beaten up.

"I was one of the most popular strippers in New York," she said. "If I was to ever harm or put a nigga in a situation, fuck jail, niggas would have cut my face [and] beat my ass."
