
Central Texas Child Bit Twice by Venomous Snake in Backyard
A four-year-old boy from Oglesby in Coryell County was bitten by what is considered to be a venomous snake on Monday, according to local news station, KWTX.
The child, whose identity has not been released nor his medical condition at this point, was reportedly bitten twice by a venomous snake in his backyard. Though details of the incident are obscure, local authorities believe the snake may have been either a rattlesnake or a copperhead.
The bite was reported around 4:30 p.m. on Monday as the boy is currently in Waco at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center.
