Comedian Rickey Smiley’s Daughter Shot 3 Times In Houston

Wild news to report out of Houston from the weekend as famed comedian and radio show host Rickey Smiley's daughter was shot 3 times in a "road rage" incident in Houston.

According to KHOU, Aaryn Smiley was one of 3 people hurt during a late night altercation at a Whataburger location on Houston's South Side.

According to police, it all started with an altercation at a separate location. During the altercation, police say the victim's car, a black Infiniti, was at a red light when the suspect pulled up to it and opened fire.

The 3 people inside including Smiley's daughter were able to drive to a nearby hospital for help. All 3 victims are expected to survive.

My youngest daughter was shot last night, I'm just so angry right now. I go to bed around 8:30 or 9 o' clock, and I woke up to text messages," he explained. "The fact that she's laying up in the hospital and probably going to have to go into surgery ... She's just crying, she's scared, and I just hate it. - Rickey Smiley
