Unfortunately, as the pandemic drags on, another family fun event is getting canceled.

We received word from Copperas Cove Parks and Recreation that the 2020 Fall-O-Ween Festival, scheduled for October 24th at Copperas Cove City Park, has been canceled this year due to concerns over COVID-19.

In an email press release we received, CC Parks & Recreation said that they hope to bring the event back next year.

The Annual Fall-O-Ween Festival has proven to be a well-attended community event with fun and excitement for the entire family. Unfortunately, due to the expected high attendance and overall inability to regulate social distancing at such a large event, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s event for the safety of our residents and community.

While this event has been canceled, the City of Copperas Cove are advising residents wishing to take their kids out trick or treating on Halloween night, to do so between the hours of 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The City is also advising that you follow CDC Guidelines where you can find more details about here.
