Massive Fire Now Leaves Dozens Homeless In Copperas Cove, Texas
Copperas Cove, Texas is springing to action to assist dozens of residents that are now all homeless after a massive fire quickly spread through their apartment complex early Thursday morning.

According to this KCEN article, the fire began around 6:30 AM, and Copperas Cove first responders began to immediately report to the Willow Creek Apartments at the corner of Robert Avenue and Judy Lane.
34 people were evacuated during the fire that took more than three hours to combat.
Two Copperas Cove Fire Department trucks, three ambulances, and a host of additional first responders were on site to aid in the evacuation and battle the blaze. Thankfully, thus far, no major injuries have been reported, but the damage done by homes lost will require a lot of recovery time.

Many of the residents were preparing to depart for work or school when fire crews began knocking on doors, and escorting everyone to safety. Investigators are exploring the cause of the fire that is believed to have begun in building 8, but quickly spread.

The Red Cross of Texas is assisting the survivors of the devastation, and nobody steps up to help their fellow neighbor and friend like Texas, so all donations are always welcome. It is also being reported that residents connected with the post at Fort Cavazos are receiving relief.
